Acceptable Use Policy

Last Updated: July 12, 2025

Deliverability is a team sport. Email Service Providers like TempCraft are only as good as our senders. To provide all our users with the best deliverability, we enforce rules to protect our collective reputation. This policy outlines what is not acceptable.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violating this policy. Depending on the severity, we will try to work with you before any disruption. Refunds will not be issued for breaches of this policy.

Sending Statistics Requirements

In addition to content guidelines, all email sending must meet these statistics to maintain high deliverability for everyone:

  • Complaint Rate: Must be lower than 0.1%.
  • Bounce Rate: Must be lower than 5%.

If your rates exceed these thresholds, your account may be placed under review or suspended to protect the platform.

Prohibited Content

You may not use our services to send emails that, in our sole discretion, fall into any of the following categories:

  • Emails offering to sell illegal goods or services.
  • Emails that violate CAN-SPAM, GDPR, or any other applicable laws.
  • Pornography or sexually explicit content.
  • Escort and dating services.
  • Pharmaceutical products.
  • Gambling services or products.
  • Multi-level marketing (MLM) or pyramid schemes.
  • "Get rich quick" schemes.
  • Credit repair and get-out-of-debt opportunities.
  • List brokers or list rental services.

Prohibited Actions

The following actions are strictly prohibited and will lead to account review and potential termination:

  • Spamming: Sending unsolicited bulk messages without prior, verifiable consent.
  • Phishing: Sending fraudulent emails that impersonate others to steal information.
  • Misleading Content: Using false or misleading headers, subjects, or from-addresses.
  • Malicious Content: Distributing malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
  • Harassment: Using our service to harass, intimidate, or threaten any individual or group.

Mailing List Requirements

All emails should be sent to recipients who gave you explicit and verifiable approval (opt-in) to receive them. You may not use purchased, rented, or third-party lists.

If you send unsolicited (cold) emails to business contacts, you must:

  • Include a valid physical address and company name.
  • Clearly explain why you are contacting them.
  • Provide a clear, one-click unsubscribe method and honor all requests promptly.
  • Ensure the message provides genuine value to the recipient.
  • Use a company/organizational email address, not a personal one.
